Our Story

 
It all started 4 years ago when we saw a little pre-formed pond at Lowe's.  We thought a nice little water garden with a waterfall would be great fun!  We dug a hole in the hard sun packed Arizona dirt and proceeded to make our little 125 gallon pond with a stream and waterfall!  THEN we purchased some feeder goldfish from the local pet store.  We like having the fish in the pond but wanted something not so plain.  SO we purchased two koi once again from the local pet store.  It was all down hill from there.  We realized these koi and goldfish had personalities!  We were able to train them to hand feed!  I then started looking online to see where one could get a little better selection of koi than the pet store.

What we found is that you can find a good deal on the price of the koi but then you have the burden of shipping costs.  In order to offset the shipping you had to buy so many koi.  Not everyone can or wants to do that.  We then realized there wasn't any good supplier of quality koi in the area.  We did not see a viable website in Arizona in which one could view and purchase quality domestic or even Imported Japanese koi.  There were ads on the local advertising sites (like Offerup or Craigslist) but we questioned the quality and health of the koi since the majority were people rehoming koi due to down sizing or shutting down a pond.   

So we decided to create our own business to be able to acquire koi at wholesale prices and offer them to the local koi enthusiasts! Since then we have upgraded our little 125 gallon preformed pond to a 4,000 gallon pond that holds our personal collection.  We have some holding tanks and a 600 gallon holding/viewing pool.  We are in the process of adding up to 5 more 1,000 gallon holding ponds to have a variety of koi available for selection.
